We’re looking for an IT Software Engineer/Platform Engineer to join our team in India. This pivotal role involves driving IT initiatives focused towards establishing new infrastructure platforms, standardizing Cloud infrastructure deployment processes using Terraform and Azure DevOps. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end automation solutions, automating repetitive workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure deployments across our hybrid infrastructure landscape.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE

• Platform Development: Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure platform components, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Write and maintain IaC using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or other automation tools.

• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure build, test, and deployment processes.

• IT Automation: Identify repetitive workflows and design end-to-end automation solutions to streamline infrastructure platform operations and improve efficiency.

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to optimize infrastructure resources and implement security best practices.

• Containerization and Orchestration: Build and manage containerized applications in Cloud (AWS) using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Monitoring and Logging: Integrate monitoring tools (AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc.) into automation workflows and maintain monitoring solutions to track platform performance to identify issues.

• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure platforms and tools to reduce the attack surface.

• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve platform issues and performance bottlenecks proactively.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with internal IT teams, Application teams and other stakeholders to ensure platform service alignment and integration.

• Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for platform components and processes in Confluence.

• Agile Practices: Ability to work effectively in an agile team setting, communicate technical concepts clearly and participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, retrospective etc.).

• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING

• 5+ years of professional experience in an IT infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering role.

• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with AWS services like EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, and Control Tower.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java).  

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, software development principles and best practices.

• Knowledge of ITSM systems and workflow automation (e.g., ServiceNow).

• Strong communication skills, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
