In your role as a DevOps Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering a DevOps mindset across the broader Technology team. You'll serve as a mentor to fellow engineers, offering guidance to Development teams as they embrace best practices and stay current with evolving industry standards. You'll lead by setting a strong example, ensuring alignment within the Technology team, and demonstrating technical proficiency in the field of DevOps.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE
Build and prototype infrastructure patterns, tools/platforms and processes into working proofs of concept, then finalized solutions.
Develop and implement processes, tools, and automation to improve engineering workflows
Work with engineers across cross functional teams to implement new technologies that can improve productivity
Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of productivity improvement initiatives through scorecards/kpi
Stay up to date on the latest trends in productivity engineering
Leverage tools like Jenkins to automate workflows
Enjoys optimizing systems by investigating, removing inefficiencies, and improving process and developer workflows

Demonstrated ability to automate the provisioning and maintenance of infrastructure and services across on-prem and AWS cloud environments.
Proficient in managing containerized applications using Kubernetes and containers in both on-premises and cloud-managed environments.
Strong skills in Python programming, including design, debugging, and problem-solving.
Experienced with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
Expert in Linux systems and Bash scripting.
Skilled in log monitoring, observability, and analytics using tools such as ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Extensive hands-on experience with Jenkins, including plugin management and customization.
Familiar with Red Hat OpenShift, Artifactory, VMware ESXi, and vCenter.
A self-driven, creative, and independent professional with a passion for learning new technologies.
Capable of taking on diverse roles in fast-paced startup environments, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Solid understanding of data integrity, security, and business continuity principles.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
5+ years of total experience in productivity engineering or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This position has a starting pay range of $MIN - $MID per year. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants.
