We are looking for a self-motivated and customer-focused Global Inside Sales
Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on providing technical solution
pre-sales coverage to our commercial and long-tail market segments globally
- delivering technical presentations, remote demonstrations, and proof-of-
concept sessions as required.


Working closely with the relevant commercial, renewals and channel sales
reps, the Inside Sales Engineer will help understand the needs of the
customer in order to suggest appropriate technology solutions and/or
services to address their needs.


A strong desire for technology and understanding of business IT is essential,
as well as the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and
understandable way.


Our ideal candidate is also expected to have a natural inquisitiveness in
order to discover, interpret and manage customer requirements and design
technical solutions to meet those needs.


Ultimately the role of the Inside Sales Engineer is to build and maintain
strong technical rapport with new and existing customers, ensuring that they
receive high-quality solutions that addresses their technological needs

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • Work on sales opportunities assigned to the team, prioritizing efforts to maximize overall team productivity and profitability, as guided by the Sales Engineering Director.

  • Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions (when required) articulately and confidently.

  • Shadow and assist senior Commercial Sales Engineer in commercial sales business development for commercial segment in France.

  • Proactively identify and define the technical solutions required to meet customer needs, assess both met and unmet requirements, and recommend optimal solutions for both the customer and the organization.

  • Gather input from key solution stakeholders within the customer’s organization.

  • Customize technical solutions as needed to ensure they align with customer requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with internal Commercial, Channel & Renewal sales reps, sales support, and professional services teams to ensure solutions align with customers’ business needs.

  • Obtain necessary technical commitments from customer teams to  facilitate deal closure.

  • Achieve set targets for profitable sales growth across assigned product lines, market segments, channels, and sales teams.

  • Actively collaborate with team members, sharing to enhance one another’s product knowledge, technical expertise, and sales skills.

  • Identify and pursue additional business development opportunities within customer organizations, working alongside sales teams to ensure effective engagement and advancement.

Must be based in either France or Bulgaria.

Technical

  • Familiar with industry terms and competitive landscape

  • Willingness to constantly learn, i.e. participate in trainings, updates and mentorship (SE Summit, Spark, SKO, Other)

  • Working toward initial Industry certifications (Cloud, DB, or adjacent technologies)

  • Solid understanding of tools for daily work (communication, 

  • presentation, documentation)

  • Ability to demonstrate technical solutions or concepts remotely leveraging business tools and virtual lab environments

  • Technical knowledge of Cohesity and/or Veritas products is advantageous

  • Strong problem-solving & analytical abilities

  • Business/Sales Acumen

  • Ability to learn quickly and share information with others.

  • Partner in a larger sales and technical selling team to execute initiatives

  • Demonstrates adaptability and coachability.

  • Ability to create a persuasive presentation and present to groups

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills

Other soft skills

  • Must be fluent in English and French

  • Comfortable with speaking/addressing people in different settings (intimate to large-scale webinar)

  • Strong inter-personal relationship building with teams

  • Focus on personal soft development (independent learning)
