We’re looking for a passionate AMER Benefits Program Manager to join our Global Benefits Team. You will make an impact as we continue to grow and enhance our programs, and be responsible for managing the day to day of our Canada and Latin America (LATAM) benefit and wellbeing programs, vendor, and broker consultant partners. We are looking for someone who is always looking for ways to improve, is used to working in a fast paced collaborative environment, and takes pride in delivering high quality work. This position is open to remote candidates.

Key Responsibilities/Objectives:

  • Manage the day to day of the Canada and LATAM (presently, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico) health and core benefit and retirement programs including but not limited to plans such as the following, as may be applicable – health, life, disability, time off, leaves, holiday, pension.

  • Develop and manage various insurance vendor and broker relationships.

  • Create and/or maintain relevant policy documents or summary descriptions; partner with country resource experts to ensure ongoing compliance of the associated plans.

  • Implement, review, and/or edit various communications collaterals and resources to enable ongoing employee and internal service team awareness and understanding. Provide training for internal service team and/or contribute to knowledge base creation and/or article maintenance. Provide tier 2 support and resolution of escalated benefits issues.

  • Assist with plan design review including driving the annual renewal and associated open enrollment process, as may be applicable. Where integrated, partner on Workday configuration and testing of relevant benefit offerings. 

  • Support ongoing benefit activities, including the oversight and review data flow, file feeds and collaborate with the Workday team on configuration updates.

  • Collaborate with payroll partners as needed to ensure relevant needs in support of various benefit functions are satisfied. 

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize employee and dependent benefit data and trends. Assist in tracking benefit costs and preparing associated analyses and/or interpretation of collected insights to inform ongoing and future benefit investment opportunities.

  • Collaborate with expanded Global Benefits Team members in the oversight, administration construct, promotion, and support of the various global benefit offerings and their related policies, as needed. 

  • Ad hoc projects as required, assigned, or requested to continue optimizing plans and/or team effectiveness and efficiency.

Skills/Experiences:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience; technology/fast growth company experience preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Proficient in English and Spanish. Portuguese a plus.

  • Working knowledge and understanding of HRIS platform (e.g., Workday).

  • Knowledge of country regulations governing the offering and/or administration of various program benefits.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presenting benefits information in an easily understood way.

  • Solid technical and analytical capability; skillful at problem-solving, priority, time and project management. 

  • Ability to identify, assess, and analyze opportunities in current offerings and processes, and to make recommendations for improvements including leveraged operational efficiencies.

  • A customer focused mindset – identify employee/dependent needs; assess utilization, service center reports, market data to developand propose recommendations in support of employees and their covered family member interests.

  • Self-motivated and accountable; ability to demonstrate judgement needed to operate independently under limited supervision.

  • Expert at contributing to a team-focused, collaborative environment.

  • Experience working remotely and/or in a distributed environment a plus.

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
