We are seeking a Vice President of Strategic Alliances to join our team at Cohesity, who will play a pivotal role in leading business development with Global Systems Integrators (GSI). You will be able to plan, build, and drive strategic partnerships that deliver outstanding benefits to Cohesity, our GSI partners, and our shared enterprise customers. We are looking for someone who can lead all aspects of joint go-to-market (GTM), including partnership/business planning, consulting and services co-creation, field enablement, training and certification, and executive engagement.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
Serve as the senior consultative joint business strategist and partnership leader, internally and with the GSIs.
Lead all aspects of joint go-to-market (GTM) with selected GSIs, including business operations, field engagement, and executive alignment.
Educate and engage key leaders on Cohesity’s outstanding transformational capabilities, encouraging and growing relationships at all levels of the organization, with special emphasis on critical decision-makers and executive leaders.
Orchestrate cross-functional team members internally and at partners to drive partnership business planning, design and launch joint solutions and services, and overall field readiness
Support Geo-based sales teams by developing GSI-specific business plans and opportunities
Participate and/or lead in partnership business planning, co-design service development, GTM planning, and support to increase the strength of the joint offers and services developed for incremental revenue opportunities
WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
15+ years of relevant industry experience, such as business team leader, sales executive, management consultant, IT or business transformation leader, etc.
Relevant work experience, preferably at a Global System Integrator, B2B Software, or SaaS company.
Globally managing GSI Accounts is strongly preferred. Experience successfully leading and driving new business growth or value, including transformational technology initiatives (in a vendor sales or customer executive role).
Excellent engagement and influence skills with senior executives and decision makers
Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal) that exhibit credibility and create confidence in team members and partners
Solid understanding of the GSIs, including effective programs, incentives, and cadences
Strong understanding of how to productize use cases and drive new offers optimally into enterprises
BS/BA degree preferred; advanced graduate degree and/or MBA highly valued
Ability to travel with the needs of the role (~50% of the time)
Pay Range :
$204,000 - 255,000
Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
